Update number 4

Okay...so still sucking at updating this but that's ok. Not a big deal. I'm still making some progress on my goals. Here's where I am currently:

2: Host a dinner party
This is now complete. As I mentioned in my last post I hosted a team building potluck with my coworkers. It was a blast. We had lots of food, some drinks, and general good times.

3: Make pasta from scratch
This I took on last week. Was on a cooking/baking spree with some time off. And with the help of a friend made ravioli. Turned out not too bad, though we learned that the pasta needs to be rolled out thinner next time and to use less flour.

11: Get a full body massage
This is marked as in progress as I have a gift certificate from a friend for a massage and plan to call next week to book it. Looking forward to this one.

16: Try a new restaurant
Completed this past Wednesday when a friend was visiting from out of town. We wandered and came across a little Mexican place that recently opened. We had tacos, quesadillas, and jamaica water. And for two of us it was under $25. Fantastic!

29: Grow my hair long enough to put in a pony tail
Still working on this one. Slow but sure, despite wanting to cut it short again some days. If I end up in a photo in the near future I'll post it to show where I'm at. I've had it cut once so far so that it didn't feel so mullet like and smoothed out the layers.

66: Volunteer at the Fringe Festival
Well, this I am all set up to do. Will be volunteering as part of the multimedia team, taking photos. Orientation is August 4th and the festival begins on the 12th. Should be fun.
- And related to this I have a number of photography related things in my list that are in progress.

74: Hang a set of photos in my bedroom
This is marked as in progress as I have picked the photos I want to have printed for the bedroom, well most of them still need one more for over the bed. Now it's just a matter of scraping together the cash to get the prints done. Once I decide on the last one I'll post them on here.

95: Buy a funky hat and find a reason to wear it
Put this as in progress as I recently bought a bowler type hat which I think is pretty funky. Now I just need a reason to wear it, which may end up being just because but it's all good.

So, that's my update for now. Still working on the daily/weekly/monthly things and doing my best to stay on top of them but working nights kinds of gets in the way. Anyway, until next time:
